Transport Officer

Our customer is a leading international company active in the development, production, and distribution of high-quality products for the dental industry. They are looking for a Transport Officer.
As a Transport Officer, you will be responsible for organizing and monitoring transport activities to ensure timely, cost-effective, and high-quality deliveries
Your Responsibilities
- Organize the collection of completed orders using the SAP transport module or by entering shipments into the appropriate transport software.
- Coordinate with transport partners to ensure timely collections and provide all required shipping documentation (pick-up lists, invoices, etc.).
- Communicate delivery schedules and transport documentation to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with various departments and external partners to resolve delivery issues and transport-related complaints.
- Support the loading of pallets and cartons onto trucks when required.
- Accept small incoming shipments and coordinate their internal distribution on site.
- Provide administrative support to the Logistics Transport Supervisor.
- Continuously identify opportunities to optimize transport efficiency and reduce shipping costs.
Profiel
Your Profile
- Strong experience and knowledge in transport and logistics operations.
- Proven experience with the SAP transport module.
- Knowledge of customs regulations is an asset.
- Familiarity with dangerous goods regulations (IATA and ADR).
- Excellent command of Dutch and English; knowledge of French is a plus.
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Willing to work a fixed schedule of 08:00 to 16:30.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Positive, hands-on, and proactive mindset.
