Team Leader Packaging
Functieomschrijving
As a Team Leader Packaging, you ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the packaging department. You lead a team of around 10 employees, oversee production planning and ensure that customer orders are packed accurately, efficiently and according to the highest quality standards.
You act as the first point of contact for your team, maintain a positive working atmosphere and collaborate closely with colleagues from logistics, quality and technical departments.
Key responsibilities
- Lead, coach and support a team of approximately 10 packaging employees.
- Monitor daily planning, quality, safety and productivity targets.
- Respond proactively to operational challenges and minor technical issues.
- Coordinate closely with logistics, quality and maintenance teams.
- Contribute to process improvements and operational efficiency initiatives.
Profiel
Who are you as a team lead?
- You have experience in a supervisory role within a production, packaging or logistics environment.
- You know how to motivate and engage people while maintaining clear expectations.
- You are a strong communicator and are comfortable making decisions.
- You remain calm and organized in a dynamic environment.
- You have a strong focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction.
- You take initiative and enjoy solving problems.
- Experience working with multilingual teams is a plus. Knowledge of Romanian or Arabic is an additional asset.
- Technical affinity or experience with production machinery is considered a plus.
