Student Greenhouse and field worker

We are looking for students for our client BASF's site in Astene.

Your tasks will include transplanting, repotting, and general plant care. 

Specifically:

Carrying out the following greenhouse and lab activities related to the European rapeseed breeding program.

• Greenhouse & field: caring for the plants during the growth process.  More specifically, sowing/starting projects, transplanting, sampling; tying up and bagging plants, planting plants grown on medium, harvesting plant material, hand crossings, setting up metal structures, and disinfecting used materials.
• Warehouse: cleaning small seed lots mechanically or manually, counting, weighing, and packaging seed lots, preparing quality control for seeds, and making self-pollination bags.

- Proactively ensuring optimal growing conditions for the crop, detecting insects on plants, diseases, etc.

- Keeping administrative records of data in accordance with company standards.
