Our client is one of the world’s largest automobile manufacturers and a leading global company. For their site in Diest, they are looking for a Site Operations Specialist. This concerns a short-term assignment of a few months. Period still needs to be decided, with a possibility for extension.
What does this position entitle. You will:
- Ensure safe yard operations, efficient shunting (yard/dock), processes improvement and accurate admin in collaboration with contractorsEnsure smooth operations and admin with the team:
- Booking – extra/ad hoc requests: all non-standard requests (inbound flow)
- Container management : plan arrival of containers on daily basis
- Admin for outbound flow (documentation), customs admin
- Collaborate with K&N (admin & shunt contractor), GTS (shunt sub-contractor)
- Daily OPS control
- KN KPI control
- Follow up yard operations
- Safety KPIs/Driver KPIs
- Yard regular checks
- Project management
- Yard projects support
- Safety projects support
- Small projects lead
- Contribute to process improvement
- Kaizen action plan
- Daily tasks efficiency
Profiel
Who are we looking for?
- You have a Bachelor diploma or equivalent due to experience
- You have operational experinece (warehouse/logistics for example as a planner)
- Warehouse operations knowledge
- Site Operations knowledge
- Logistics knowledge (incl admin)
- Dutch is a plus, English is a mist
- You lust have a very good knowledge of Excel. Knowledge of Power BI is a plus
