Procurement Specialist - Accessory Operations
Functieomschrijving
As a Procurement and Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for managing the procurement and inventory of parts and accessories sourced from local suppliers. Your key responsibilities include:
- Stock and Service Level Analysis: Analyze stock levels and service performance, initiating improvement actions to meet customer service expectations and key KPIs. This includes following up on allocation service rates and resolving backorders for Toyota customers
- Customer Complaint Management: Professionally respond to customer complaints, ensuring timely and effective resolution
- Supplier Performance Improvement: Enhance supplier performance by creating and following up on action plans to address gaps. Utilize the Toyota Production System (TPS) philosophy and problem-solving approach to create, map, review, and improve processes. Understand abnormalities caused by suppliers in our warehouse, visit suppliers to identify root causes, implement countermeasures, improve processes to prevent recurrence, and support the creation of standards
- Parts Availability: Ensure the availability of parts for European markets through regional locations and beyond, catering to both current and future models of Toyota and Lexus vehicles
Profiel
- Bachelor or Master in logistics, procurement, supply chain or engineering
- Genuinely interested in the automotive industry & supply chain management
- 5 years or more of experience in supply chain management
- Attention to detail and enjoys working in an active supply environment
- You are outgoing and proactive with excellent teamwork skills with a customer mind-set
- You posses very good numeric and MS office skills including Excel, Access databases/Power BI
- You are able to travel between several sites that are not reachable by public transport
- You are fluent in English as a business language
