Our customer engineers and manufactures innovative safety products that protect people and property. They are currently seeking a Procurement, Logistics & Customer Operations Specialist for their European Distribution Center (EDC) in Aarschot. This role is essential in ensuring operational efficiency and delivering exceptional service to our European distribution network.

Key Responsibilities

  • Order Management: Ensure accuracy in order confirmations and create clear instructions for the employees.
  • Team Supervision: Oversee the planning, organization, scheduling, and quality control
  • Logistics Coordination: Arrange transportation across multiple EU countries efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Procurement: Manage the purchasing of steel components, raw materials, galvanization services, powder coating, and other required processes.

Profiel

Qualifications & Experience

Education & Background:

  • A degree in business administration or engineering.
  • Experience in warehousing, procurement, or manufacturing is highly valued.

Skills & Attributes:

  • Strong technical aptitude with an understanding of equipment and processes.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems or willingness to learn quickly.
  • Excellent communication skills with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Languages: English, Dutch or French are  advantageous).
  • Independent, organized, and solution-driven work approach.

Other Requirements:

  • Experience in facility maintenance or management is a plus.
  • Resides within a 30 km radius of Aarschot for ease of commute.
