For an international manufacturing company in the Aalst region, we are looking for a Maintenance Technician to work in a 2-shift system. You will help ensure the optimal operation of an advanced machinery and equipment park, while having the opportunity to further develop your technical skills.
You will work in a 2-shift system from 06:00 to 14:00 and from 14:00 to 22:00.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing and improving industrial machinery and technical installations. Thanks to your technical expertise, you will help keep production processes reliable and minimise downtime.
- Carrying out preventive maintenance on production machines, injection moulding machines and auxiliary equipment.
- Troubleshooting and resolving electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults.
- Carrying out corrective repairs in the event of technical failures.
- Analysing faults and identifying sustainable solutions.
- Independently carrying out small technical projects and improvements.
- Actively contributing to optimisations aimed at increasing the reliability and efficiency of the machinery.
- Working closely with the production department to minimise downtime.
- Working in accordance with applicable safety, quality and environmental standards.
- Contributing to a clean, safe and orderly working environment.
Profiel
- You have a technical degree in Electromechanics, Electricity, Automation or a similar technical field. Relevant practical experience can also be considered.
- You have experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery.
- You have knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance in a production environment.
- Basic knowledge of PLC controls is an advantage. If you have limited experience in this area, you will have the opportunity to learn and develop your skills internally.
- Experience with injection moulding machines is an advantage, but not a requirement.
- You have a good command of Dutch.
- You are able to understand technical documentation in English and/or German.
- You have strong analytical skills and a solution-oriented approach.
- You have a hands-on mentality and a strong sense of responsibility.
- You enjoy working as part of a team, while also being able to carry out technical interventions independently.
