Are you searching for a role where you can take on responsibility for closing the production and assisting with the cleanup? Do you have a passion for candy? Then we have the perfect job for you! Our client’s company, the specialist in delightful sweets, is looking for a driven and enthusiastic colleague to help bring their colorful creations to life and strengthen their production process. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the final phase of production, with a keen eye for detail and a hands-on mentality.

Responsibilities:

Ensure the closure of the production process.
Assist with the cleanup of the production department.
Operate the casting line.
Work according to hygiene and safety guidelines.
Contribute ideas for process improvements and efficiency.
Assist with packaging in a full-time schedule (38 hours), if desired.
Occasionally handle 25 kg bags (physical fitness required!).

Profiel

Profile Description:

We are looking for a candidate with experience in operating machines in production, which is a plus. You should be able to drive a pallet truck (certification for forklift and reach truck is a plus). You must have an eye for detail and work accurately according to the production schedule. Respect for food safety and quality standards is essential. The ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure is required. You should be willing to work in a somewhat noisy and dusty environment. You communicate well in English or Dutch.

Professional Skills:

Monitor and maintain the cleanliness and condition of devices (scales, grinding machines, cooking vats, ovens, etc.) and workstations.
Oversee machine operations and perform simple interventions if necessary.
Provide technical assistance to operators.
Prepare reports on production and incidents.
Control the supply of machines or installations and the flow of raw materials or products.
Record data for production tracking and communicate information to stakeholders.

Aanbod

Offer:

They offer a diverse and tasty role within a rapidly growing family business. You can work full-time (38 hours per week, potentially also in the packaging department) or part-time (minimum 18 hours per week, production only). They provide flexible working hours between 10:00 AM and 7:00 PM (flexible end time depending on production needs). There are training opportunities, including obtaining a forklift and reach truck certificate. The salary is €17 per hour plus €5 meal vouchers. The workplace is located in 9940 EVERGEM.

Working days are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, with a minimum of 9 hours per day. Currently, they are only looking for individuals who can work the late shift, starting at 10 AM and working until 6 PM or longer, even until 9 PM.
