What is the role of the Electrical Measurement Technician?

Are you excited by the idea of working at the crossroads of high-tech research and hands-on engineering?

As an Electrical Measurement Technician, you’ll be the go-to person for running electrical test programs on automatic wafer probers, working both in advanced labs and in the cleanroom.

Your days will be a mix of variety and impact. You will...

... be preparing test scripts and loading wafers to gather critical data;
... be supporting researchers by troubleshooting test benches
... be swapping out delicate needles, or carrying out small but vital repairs.
.. help keep the labs running smoothly: coordinating instrument calibrations, taking care of loan and probecard services, and assisting with new system installations by wiring up racks and connecting instruments.
... even guide researchers in using complex measurement systems, after getting training.

Beyond the technical work, you’ll actively contribute ideas to improve workflows and quality, ensuring that the tools and processes in our labs are always one step ahead.

Profiel

What skills or profile are we looking for?

Detail-oriented: you can follow precise procedures without losing sight of the bigger picture.
Comfortable in both environments: 80% of your time will be in the lab, 20% in the cleanroom.
Tech-savvy: you have basic computer skills (Office) and are familiar with ticketing systems.
Balanced: you enjoy combining administrative tasks with hands-on work (50/50).
Communicative: you’re confident in English (oral and written) and have working knowledge of Dutch.
