Our customer is wel l known in Automotive. one of the biggest car brands. With a presence in 10 European countries and a team of around 1,200 employees, they drive global business through a unique blend of trading, manufacturing, processing, retail, and services. Their mission is to connect industries, innovate supply chains, and deliver sustainable value across borders.

For the office in Zaventem, tehy are in need of a Coordinator – Corporate Planning Department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support strategic projects across divisions and departments
  • Organize high-level meetings 
  • Manage logistics: scheduling, venue setup, materials preparation
  • Maintain and manage internal approval process, legal documents
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and documentation for internal and external use
  • Liaise with top management,  internal stakeholders and global headquarters (Japan) to ensure smooth communication
  • Maintain project timelines, monitor progress, and escalate issues when needed
  • Support the Corporate Planning Department Manager and team in ad hoc strategic tasks

Profiel

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Minimum university bachelor’s degree (e.g. economics)
  • 5+ years of experience in project coordination, corporate planning, or executive support
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; any other European languages (Dutch/ French/ German) and Japanese proficiency is an asset
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multicultural environment
  • Discretion and professionalism in handling confidential information

 

Preferred Competencies

  • Cross-cultural communication and sensitivity, especially in Japanese business cultural contexts
  • Proactive mindset with a “can-do” attitude and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships across departments
  • Experience in preparing executive-level documents and presentations
