Our customer is one of the leading global logistics service providers.

Main tasks:

Receive, review, and process import documentation.
Process and follow Customer’s Letter of Instructions accurately.
Prepare and process all import related documentation. t
Prepare and/or send advance notification of arrivals.
Instruct overseas offices to arrange, book, and confirm cargo space on vessels.
Calculate freight rates and insurance.
Close files and distribute documents in compliance with import standards.
Adhere to all domestic and international shipping regulations.
Have knowledge of Customs Import regulations.

Profiel

Skills and qualifications

A first experience in forwarding or degree in logistics field
Languages English & Dutch.
Good communicative skills.
Knowledge of Cargowise is a plus
Multitasking skills
The ability to organize, prepare, and assemble documents or reports containing data from several sources.
Have knowledge of Customs Regulations.
Good customer service and communication skills
Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
Team player and have the ability to prioritize
