Functieomschrijving

For one of our clients, a leader in logistics and sustainability, we’re looking for a proactive Safety & Health Coordinator to strengthen their team.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Compliance & Legislation: Ensure adherence to the Welfare Act, Codex, and relevant safety regulations
  • Advise management on legal obligations and improvement opportunities
  • Maintain contact with external authorities (FPS WASO, fire brigade, inspections, etc.)
  • Risk & Prevention: Conduct and follow up on risk and workstation analyses
  • Develop and monitor the Global Prevention Plan and Annual Action Plan
  • Identify risks and implement corrective and preventive actions
  • Training & Awareness
  • Incident & Audit Management
  • Operational Support: Advise on safe workplace design and ergonomic improvements
  • Manage PPE and safety equipment. Support well-being initiatives
  • Sustainability Backup: Assist in ESG data collection and reporting
  • Reporting & Projects: Lead safety-related projects and collaborate with Facility, HR, and Operations

Profiel

Requirements

  • Minimum Diploma in Prevention Advisor Level 2.
  • Thorough knowledge of welfare legislation, Codex and safety standards.
  • At least 3 years of experience in a logistics, production or industrial environment.
  • Basic knowledge of sustainability reporting (ESG, CO₂) is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Good communication skills (Dutch and English, French is a plus).
  • Proactive attitude, persuasiveness and hands-on mentality.
  • Familiarity with ISO 45001, ISO 9001 and/or GDP is an advantage.
  • Stress-resistant and decisive.
  • Strong organisational skills and accuracy.
  • Team player with coaching skills.
  • Eye for detail, safety and sustainability.
