Are you looking for a stable logistics job with real growth opportunities? Do you want to start as an order picker and be trained to become a forklift or reachtruck driver? Then this opportunity might be perfect for you.

Our client is a specialized production company manufacturing industrial belts used in various sectors, including the automotive industry. At their site in Desteldonk, around 110 employees work together in a structured and modern warehouse environment.

Your Job

As an Order Picker, you are responsible for preparing orders accurately and efficiently:

  • Picking orders using a scanning system
  • Moving through the warehouse with an electric warehouse scooter
  • Checking goods and preparing them for shipment
  • After training, operating a forklift or reachtruck
  • Assisting with receiving, stocking, and loading goods

You will start with order picking, but on the long term you can receive training to grow into a forklift or reachtruck driver.

Profil

Working Hours

- You will work in a 2-shift system:

  • Early shift: 05:50 – 14:00
  • Late shift: 13:50 – 22:00

You work 10 minutes extra per day, which results in 5 additional ADV (recuperation) days per year.

Breaks per shift: 30 minutes unpaid + 10 minutes paid

After a positive introduction interview, you can start quickly. You begin with a weekly contract and are guided by a personal mentor. After a 6-month evaluation period and a positive final review, you receive a permanent contract.

Who Are We Looking For?

  • Experience in logistics or as a warehouse worker/order picker is a plus
  • Strong motivation and positive attitude
  • Good knowledge of Dutch (spoken and understood)
  • Willing to work in a 2-shift system
  • Own transportation (location not accessible by public transport)
  • Physically fit and able to perform manual work

Offre

What Can You Expect? Salary Package (during interim period)

  • Gross hourly wage: €16.5960
  • Shift premium: 7.5%
  • Meal vouchers: €8 per worked day
  • End-of-year bonus
  • CAO90 bonus up to €500 per quarter
  • Extra benefits: fruit, coffee, soup, consumption vouchers, end-of-year gift, birth gift, etc.
  • No collective closure: in addition to your legal holidays, you receive 5 extra recuperation days.
  • Voluntary overtime possible, paid at 150%.
  • Forklift and reachtruck training provided.
