Our client rents and manages millions of pallets, crates, and containers that companies use to transport their goods. By collecting, repairing, and reusing these materials, they make the entire logistics chain more efficient, cost‑effective, and sustainable. You join an international player that plays a crucial role in transport and supply‑chain support, with a strong focus on sustainability and collaboration.

Your responsibilities

  • Implement and maintain HSE management systems, monitor GAP processes, and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
  • Advise plant leadership on updates in legislation and safety standards, with strong focus on Absolute Safety First principles.
  • Oversee emergency procedures, ensure full compliance, and manage daily HSE activities within the team.
  • Coordinate improvement and action plans to meet compliance targets.
  • Promote a proactive safety culture through strong leadership, Safety First discussions, Learning Teams, and the Safety Differently philosophy.
  • Monitor and evaluate training activities to ensure compliance with safety standards and legal requirements.
  • Lead investigations of incidents and significant near misses, conduct root‑cause analyses, and share lessons learned across the network.
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, audits, observation tours, and use of the iCare system.
  • Support Zero Harm initiatives and employee wellbeing programs such as Safety Week and health screenings.

Profil

Your Profile

  • Ideally IOSH‑qualified.
  • Strong knowledge of national health, safety, and wellbeing legislation.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Self‑motivated, proactive, and capable of leading projects and taking ownership of solutions.
  • Solid understanding of HSE management systems and strong analytical skills.
  • Able to perform well under pressure with strong organizational abilities.
  • Competencies such as Active Learning, Adaptability, Cross‑Functional Collaboration, Digital Skills, Emotional Intelligence, Empathy, Process Safety, Product Safety, Safety Guidelines, and Training Delivery.
