Toyota Motor Europe Corporate Communications acts as an antenna and communicator for the company external relations. It has a vision to enhance Toyota’s reputation in Europe through collaborative relationships with external stakeholders (for example - international and national media, NGOs, customers). In pursuit of this we want to achieve the recognition that Toyota is a company that cares about people, society and the future.
Against this backdrop the Corporate Communications function must define & implement relevant strategy and plans to protect and enhance TOYOTA’s reputation, and positively project it into chosen areas of new activity. (1) Develop and implement External Communication activities, focusing on core corporate pillars: Environment, Safety, Electrification and Future of Mobility. (2) Crisis Management to protect our corporate reputation.
Your responsibilities
- Key role in the development of PR communication materials (press releases, Q&As, social content, press kits, pictures and video material)
- Prepare presentations and scripts for speak outs.
- Develop corporate materials for owned (Newsroom & Corporate Website) and social media channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Twitter)
- Update and share regular reports for distribution within the organisation.
- Support the organisation of press events and interviews with Toyota Motor Europe executives.
- Monitor and assess media coverage in Europe
- Help local Toyota entities answer media enquiries (information, assets, interviews, visits, etc)
Profil
- You are fluent in English (Toyota Motor Europe’s business language)
- You have experience in communications, preferably PR / corporate communications in an international environment
- You are graduated of a Masters degree
- Interest in mobility industry, Toyota as a company
- Mature personality able to consult with all levels of the company
- Fluency in spoken and written English is essential, any other European language is a plus.
- High level of creative writing skills with experience in making presentation
- Numerate and accurate
- Computer skills: Excellent knowledge of MS office: creative software (e.g., Canva) is a plus
- You can work in a small & dynamic team with strict deadlines
- You are a self-starter, happy to take initiatives, flexible to manage a wide variety of topics and tasksYou have the ability to pay attention to detail, fact- and data-checking for accuracy, consistency
