Our customer is one of the leading global logistics service providers.
Main tasks:
- Receive, review, and process import documentation.
- Process and follow Customer’s Letter of Instructions accurately.
- Prepare and process all import related documentation. t
- Prepare and/or send advance notification of arrivals.
- Instruct overseas offices to arrange, book, and confirm cargo space on vessels.
- Calculate freight rates and insurance.
- Close files and distribute documents in compliance with import standards.
- Adhere to all domestic and international shipping regulations.
- Have knowledge of Customs Import regulations.
Profil
Skills and qualifications
- A first experience in forwarding or degree in logistics field
- Languages English & Dutch.
- Good communicative skills.
- Knowledge of Cargowise is a plus
- Multitasking skills
- The ability to organize, prepare, and assemble documents or reports containing data from several sources.
- Have knowledge of Customs Regulations.
- Good customer service and communication skills
- Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and under own initiative
- Team player and have the ability to prioritize
